(Non-Warmoth) GFS ES-335 Kit

A lil dab will do ya  I typically mix light concentrations and do more coats to control color saturation

Started screwing around with dye yesterday, My dad had some old strips of poplar in the basement with some surprising grain pattern for poplar and I went to town. First result was poor but improved from there. I'm gong to try it on flame maple before I stain the body of course but I felt it was good to get a feel before ruining a strip of flame maple..

Latty out

Suppose so, I looked at the mixing instructions. The bottle is 1 once. To mix the base dye color using that 1 ounce, It is to be mixed with 2 Quarts of water...... Jesus Chirst... I did some conversions and basically half a teaspoon for 200ml.

Well then, those army-size jars from WalMart and Costco will come in handy after all.

Hey guys, I just joined the forum tonight. I was hoping ya'll might be able to help me out with something... I just got this same kit from GFS today in the mail. I was all excited, but started thinking that before I go any further with sanding and finishing, that I'd like to locate the bridge hole for the tune-o-matic and what not... I got into lookin into how to find the scale length and such... turns out the scale on this puppy is 24". That can't be right?
Assuming it is 24", that puts my bridge practically in the bridge pickup. Seems I'm missing about 3/4" on the scale from a traditional 335. Aye carumbah. Any one else have this issue? I have to be measuring right. All the forums say to measure from the fretboard side of the nut, to the center of the 12th fret, then double the measure. I get 24". Help????? ???

It's to the 12th fret. Are you perhaps measuring to the center of the 12th position? Because that would leave you 3/4" short.
