Warmoth parts came today. Not very satisfied with locking nut shelves

Cederick, I would strongly suggest if you are sure that the lock nut shelf is to shallow to contact sales@warmoth.com. Send us a couple of photos so we can see what your seeing. If we indeed did cut the lock nut to shallow we will take care of you in a timely manner. We would rather have the...

    Anyone ever pull frets?

I can tell you pulling frets can be hit or miss depending on the fingerboard wood. Darker fretboards are easier to repair the inevitable chip out caused by pulling frets. Maple on the other hand is very unforgiving when pulling frets most maple will show obvious signs of refretting. My...

    Cabronita Hardtail Question

Hipshot base plate with Gotoh saddles so it's kind of both. If you look at the bridge routing section or under the narrow flat mount bridge in the hardware section the dimensions should be there to compare to the Hipshot site.

Roasted Maple Necks now available for custom order.

We are offering the 2 year warranty on unfinished roasted maple just like the exotics and the finished maple necks. In working with this maple it appears to be very stable. A finish can be added if one so desires but just to reiterate a finish is not required for warranty.

    design your own fender

We are a replacement part company. Setting up guitars is very much a personal preference deal my idea of low action might be different than yours. The amount of balling I like on my frets ends will most likely be different than yours and so on. We do not go into these areas because it is a very...

    REGAL - hollow?

Chambered and solid are the only options for the Regal, Royal, and Velocity. The VIP, and Cave Top Tele have solid, chambered, and hollow options. The Mooncaster is only available as a hollow construction. Hope that clears things up. Best regards, Sean

    My body is cracking?!

What you are see are not cracks it's the rays in the Alder. Warmoth applies thin poly finishes to preserve the tone of the wood. These rays will telepath through (depending on the amount of rays in the Alder) as the body ages. If you live in a dyer climate it will happen faster than if you live...

    Evertune Jazzmaster

Ok here is the story on the Evertune bridges. Warmoth is no longer routing for this bridge it has become apparent that the bridge has changed and evolved over the last few years since we originally programmed them back in 2010ish. I can tell you that the sample bridges I have from Evertune...

    Valley Arts info

Warmoth came up with the 24x24 3/4 neck as a replacement for a Mustang neck back in the early 80's. Valley Arts then incorporated the scale and Warmoth produced many parts for the original Valley Arts guitars pre Gibson's purchase of the company. Warmoth continued to make the Valley Arts line up...

    Neck Shave (Haywire Guitars)

You would need to have a pair of Calipers and measure the neck at the 1st fret, and 12th fret. The only contours we offer are the ones our site. If you are after a specific feel that replicates an existing neck than having a neck modified is probably your only option. I was just letting everyone...

    Neck Shave (Haywire Guitars)

We do not use Watkins Danish Oil. We do not disclose what we use , but I just wanted to chime in to correct wrong information. FYI shaving a neck voids the warranty. Some necks have machining and truss rod installation differences that we do not disclose. Shaving a neck down could lead to some...

    GAS Alert!!!!

There seems to be an on going debate about why we top route really cool topped bodies. The answer is really simple because top routed sales far exceed rear route sales. We just try to give people what they want and that happens to be bodies that take pickguards.
