Figured Walnut on Black Korina

The brown truck just drove away and dropped off a box for me. What could it be..?

An UC walnut top on black korina which also has some flame.

Hard to photograph but it looks great. Another fine piece from Warmoth
here's the top I chose

Not only did this show up but as I was opening it I got the UPS Quantum view for the neck.
The neck will involve this UC fretboard.

Jeez, completely dyed one guitar and you get a bad rap, jk.  :laughing7: I promise I won't be going crazy with this piece. I do have some ability to restrain myself. I didn't go nuts dyeing stuff into my flamed koa baritone. This one will be one of those where I let the grain do the talking. I did order the neck rosewood/ziricote with no inlay or frets. I plan to try my hand at flamed maple binding, wood inlays and some more layered veneer tricks. wish me luck.

I got just about everything else in for this build.

Indian Rosewood neck Ziricote fretboard

Looks good with the body

And the rest of it including a bundle of flamed maple binding, various veneers to play with, SS 6105 frets and Graphtech Ghost Floyd Rose setup.

And some BKP Juggernauts to finish it up

All of this is going to sit for bit while I finish up my friends guitar.  :-\ But I'm almost done with it.  :icon_biggrin: But when I start I'll create a Work In Progress thread and post pics.
