What colors, paint schemes would you like to see offered by Warmoth

GM used to offer the Pontiac Gran Prix in a sort of candy/metallic copper that I always thought would look great on a guitar.

It's similar to the candy tangerine you already offer, but more brown than orange. Although, that candy tangerine is fine shade. I have one of those, and everybody that sees it wants to know where I got it.
Do you know the make model and year? I can look up the color code with that info.

It's a Pontiac Grand Prix, and the color was available for several years. The one pictured above is probably a 2004, 2005, something like that. I found a listing of color codes here, but there aren't any chips to compare with. By the description, it would seem they called it a bronze metallic, not copper, but there are some other suspects as well.

Well my PC just crashed looks like I willl get my responses in tomorrow, I have a lot to say and some good news about these finishes. However I'm trying to type on my Nook that I ported Android on works great but a pain in the arse to type on. Everyone have a good night and please keep the ideas flowing ,I will respond to all of your suggestions tomorrow.

I'd personally also like to see flip-flop finishes as an option. I just love stuff like this:

+a million.  Especially the really dark purple to cyan color.  So pretty!

And I think a sparkly metallic black candy finish would be awesome.  That's what I want on my future Jaguar, either that or a flip-flop finish.

Also, a turquoise burst would be good, a transparent wine red for LPs and SGs (seriously, why is this not an option already?  It's so classic!), neon green (I want a Reptarcaster!).

In addition to that, there are some regular plain solid colors that I have noticed are missing:

- solid purple
- solid dark blue/primary blue
- solid orange

Also, this slightly browned out green that's on the Thurston Moore signature Jag:

Oh yeah, and if you really want to get crazy, why not try that paint that changes colors with body heat?  Could be really interesting:  http://www.paintwithpearl.com/temperature_change.htm

And what about GLOW IN THE DARK?

maybe not really a finish, but I would be interested in those roasted/chocolate/vulcanized maple necks..
although I am still not sure if these can be played raw after the roasting treatment.

There were half a dozen strat bodies in the showcase when I worked there that took nearly a year to sell, & finally did as screamin deals.  While I dig these finishes as well, they're not big movers in the market.

But... but... I want one!  :binkybaby:  :laughing7:

It's possible that you can still get the flip-flop paints at your local auto parts store. In spray cans. You can do it yourself. If not there, a good paint jobber should be able to source the paint and even load it into spray cans for you.

I'll probably just go with a dark candy color or that aforementioned green color when I get around to that build.  It's not actually that much a of problem, I just like pretending.

How about a non-metallic blue?  I'd love to have a guitar colored like the Blue Mazda Miata:

I guess Mazda called it "Mariner Blue"

Very much like that, although to me that one looks a little more orange than copper. But, that could be issues with lighting/camera/monitor or my defective memory. In any event, that's really sharp.

Thinking about this last night, I remembered a ring made of Rose Gold that made me wonder what a transparent red over a metallic gold base would look like? Some clear over all that, buffed to a fare-thee-well... seems like that might be nice.

I've seen a few other comments on this, the "vintage tint" neck color is quite dark, almost orange. I would prefer something more natural looking.

+1 and +100 to the swirly pattern on the Ibanez Jem that Kostas suggested. I'd definitely go for one of those.
