Bah! What sort of engineer are you?

The sort who suffered a traumatic brain injury and doesn't even remember 98% of his own family let alone obscure engineering formulas, and retired 10 years ago <grin>

If we hit you in the head again, all your memories will come back. Then you can figure it out, and we can hit you a second time and life will go back to how it is now. :dontknow:

(Dammit, I can't find that Family Guy scene with the chicken man hitting Peter in the head.)

I'm afraid that trick only works in Hollywood. Besides, forgetting most of your family isn't necessarily a Bad Thing. Just because you're related to someone doesn't necessarily mean you like them or want to have anything to do with them. An unacceptable number of them were and probably still are ass holes. What I do wish I could get back is everything I knew about electrical engineering and computer programming. I was quite good at that, and it used to pay like crime. Plus, it would be nice to have my coordination back in my left side, and everything I knew about music. On the other hand, the loss of whatever childhood memories fueled some unreasonable fears is welcome. For instance, I used to have a phobia about spiders. Don't know why. Must've been some traumatic childhood memory. But, it's gone now so the spiders need to tremble in fear of me <grin>
