Which Duncans did you go with?
Curious to hear your impressions on the STK-S7 in the neck and middle!Thanks.
The pickups are all Seymour Duncans - '59 Trembucker from the original guitar (see post #1), and a pair of new STK-S7s.
I still have the original STK-S1s that were in it. They got changed for SSLs about 5 years back, but was never really happy with them in this. The S1s need new lead wires, which I'll get around to doing sooner or later.

Yeah. I find the volume knob gets in the way on a 'conventional' Strat and I don't need two tone controls. I actually have it wired like 'half a vintage Gibson', which means it doesn't get muffled when I turn the volume down.Your simple vol+tone and their respective placement is the only way I can work with a Stratocaster pickguard
