Afternoon peeps.
The banjo's finished... well, it's got strings on it.


At this point, it's got negligible tension on it. Truss rod isn't tensioned, yet, but its all done barring the setup.
That'll be tomorrow morning. I'm old, knackered eyesight... it's a morning job in my world.
More rambling and a photo or two tomorrow.

The pickups are all Seymour Duncans - '59 Trembucker from the original guitar (see post #1), and a pair of new STK-S7s.
I still have the original STK-S1s that were in it. They got changed for SSLs about 5 years back, but was never really happy with them in this. The S1s need new lead wires, which I'll get around to doing sooner or later.

Just a quickie... photo of 'the twins'.
Apologies, I haven't actually had time to plug her n to get comment on the new pickups, but when I do, I'll report back.
Last couple of days were doing the setup and then an afternoon scraping the lacquer off the frets.
