Plain can be nice also. A friend of mine (Chris Benavente) makes high line custom Bass guitars. He made one out of old concrete form lumber. Turned out awesome. sold it for 5 grand!

Getting a little closer. Got my pickups today and it was like Christmas. They are lace sensor hot golds. I ordered them with gold covers. Neck rings from DW music. I can't believe they ship these things with chrome screws. Also finished the mock up of neck plate and ordered it. I'm getting excited. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
