Is the Colorsound supposed to be a Sola Tonebender clone?

ToneBenders are my favorite fuzzes but they are hairy beasts. As you discovered, unless you push them hard they quickly become unusable.

Tonebenders are cool! This is a Colorsound Fuzzbox/commonly just called the one knob fuzz. I've heard that it's most related to a Fuzz Face, but mine sounds pretty wild/not-so-FuzzFace-ey and unfortunately doesn't do the volume knob cleanup thing very well.

Oh cool, I am not familiar with those. Never thought about cleaning up a fuzz - I have always been fond of the mk2 ToneBenders and they definitely do not like to clean up at all.
