Well spotted. String up first, then align the pu mounts.

So on this build you can just turn the sustainer on/off and thats that? That sounds like a better idea than having it as a pickup.

Yup, vol & tone (and some internal switching), sustainer on/off, harmonic on/off. That's it. No output from the neck pickup.

Thanks for the comments, guys.
It's up and running but will need a fret dress as one of the fret slots hasn't been cut deep enough. Intonation still to be done properly, blah, blah.
