So, who's everyone's favorite Bond girl?

And for Hannaugh, or anybody else who wants... who's the best Bond?

I like Connery the most as Bond, and I'm not sure about my favorite girl.

I borrowed 15 Bond dvd's from my old girlfriend's mom today, and I've watched From Russia, Goldfinger, and I'm almost done with Thunderball. She didn't have the whole set, so I'm 7 films short, I think. Including Dr. No.

While you're at it... what's your favorite movie?

Max,
Are you practicing your guitar?  How can you watch all those movies, spend time on all the discussion boards and practice?  Practice till you bleed!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been practicing 4-6 hours a day the last 2 weeks. I just got these movies this afternoon :p

And all that practice makes me want a new warmoth neck, wider nut, thicker back, exotic wood (okay, the practice didn't make me want exotic), since I like how my acoustic feels.

The best Bond girl for me will always be Barbara Bach ... major Anya Amasova ... in "The Spy Who Love Me".

I'm torn as to who the best Bond is, as each actor was a reflection (or a victim) of the times in which the movie was released.  I grew up with Moore, always liked Connery, and think Craig is bringing the "spirit" of the novels back.  At the time, I thought Bronson was a great choice, but his movies (except for "Tomorrow Never Dies") were the lamest.

no-no Galore from Octo - no-no. Just had to say that.  :icon_biggrin: Connery of course but I appreciate what Daniel Craig is doing - the series had gotten mind-numbingly boring and he provides a welcome update and even a smidge of emotional realism to the part. I wouldn't have bothered to see another Brosnan snoozer for instance.

Yeah, I didn't like Casino Royale the first time I watched it, but in retrospect, it just wasn't what I expected. I'm sure I'd enjoy it, and I need to see Quantum of Solace.

...."Alotta....Alottafagina"

Its funny how the Powers movies took the "subtlety" of Bond girl names to a whole other level ...
Not that there is anything subtle about no-no Galore (Goldfinger), Chiu Mi (Man With the Golden Gun), or Dr Goodhead (Moonraker).
Although the best (besides Barbera Bach being agent "Triple X") has got to be Xenia Onatopp (Goldedeye)!

little known and useless fact:  one james bond (pierce brosnan) once sat down on my bed to drink a cup of tea!

actuall pu$$y galore was from Goldfinger!!! which is actually the very best bond film of all time.

I was just making a joke with the built-in censor, I'm not really a fanboy type to know all that stuff. The new Star Trek was pretty good fun though.

Daniel Craig sadi in an interview that a challenge was doing Bond w/out all of the gadgets.  With I-Pods, GPSs, cell phones, etc., the gadgets aren't as much of a novelty now.  Austin Powers made the gadgets campy.  If the newer films were as gadget-riddled as the older ones, it would look like a joke of itself.

Best Movie: Dr. No

Sean Connery

Ursula Andress, aka, Honey Rider.

Best Villian:  Odd Job and his hat.

Though I have to admit, I like the name no-no Galore

Best typo ever. Imagine Charles Bronson as 007!

My favourites are Connery and Craig, but Bond isn't really my thing.
