Blue is our winner! We're going to install some threaded inserts in the neck!
Bender guitars have their necks constantly pushed down. This causes the neck screws to loosen up and then the neck moves on you. Not much, but enough to ruin that delicate country bend in that murder ballad.

I used the Scuttlefunk method of installation:
First line it up using a small drill bit that just fits in the stock holes:
Then start cutting!!
