9 years old and never played?!

i have to say that, while it may be "vintage", it aint flattering on any guitar as far as I am concerned.

Well, whoever paid 1500 buck for that guitar got robbed.  They could've gone to Warmoth themselves and bought themselves a much nicer looking Paul and saved sum loot...
 
I don't think anyone bought it. Looks to me like it ended with no one getting it.

That's what I thought.  The earliest I remember hollow LPs was 2001, shortly after introducing the carved top LP.  In 2001, I remember Thriftstore (now the Showcase) hollow LP bodies with dyed quilt maple tops and mahogany backs going for $399.
