I haven't been active on this forum so I'm a little late, but DAMN! I like this guitar. 

I haven't been here a lot lately, (mainly because reading this forum makes me want to buy guitars.) But man, I've always admired Great Ape's artwork.

Yeah, this.  People who are familiar with Warmoth would just understand.  Someone new to Warmoth, who perhaps might be more familiar with Asian-made guitars, or may be a non-guitarist buying for a guitarist,  might not understand.

I wonder if he thought the maple cap plus Korina base would give him an LP sound. I've seen LPs like that (Mahogany and maple cap) and they were all black.

Is there any contour for the forearm on the carved-top velocity body? I find that's one of the things I really like about jazzcasters and stratocasters.  I know there are on the flat-tops.

Wow.  The place I take my guitars charges ~300 to set up and plek them, regardless of their metallurgy. I thought that was expensive (but pretty darn worth it, considering how nicely they play.)  Now I feel like I've been getting a bargain.

This whole  sale is just weird.  They did it at the beginning of the new year, instead of at the end of the old year.  The other thing that's weird, is that the bodies don't look like "clearance" bodies, they look like "hey, that's really nice" bodies. I have a warmoth LP; it sounds really nice...
