Soulmate necks are pretty reasonable.  He doesn't have compound radius options, and he does all the contouring by hand, whereas Warmoth likely has CNC programs to develop and do the cutting of various radii etc.  I also don't think he is offering stainless frets yet, but its worth checking.   ...

HI Marco78 The body was finished by Warmoth, in a non-standard finish called Magenta burst.    I have only seen two or three others done in that finish and I have liked all of them.    The neck was finished by Doug who makes Soulmate Necks.    Thanks for the kind words on the guitar. DW

Just got shipping notice from Warmoth last Friday that the body for my "Magentalist" project has shipped.  Unfortunately, it usually takes two weeks to clear customs and get to my place in Canada, but its on its way!!
