Warmoth Jam #8

Bummer - hope you get it fixed. I always look forward to hearing your solos.

Still time to get in on this one.

I think I may have solved the problem temporarily. A few good smacks to the side of my computer seemed to fix the problem for a litle while, so after a couple oh hearty blows, the sound card behaved for about an hour before it started acting up again. So in that time, I was able to cut the solo. It's not as cool as I had hoped, but it is what it is under the circumstances...

You may just need to reseat the card in its slot and make sure the end is screwed down to your computer chassis.

Phew, I made it with under 2 hours to spare this time...

Neck pickup on my Hagström into Guitar Rig 4: a treble booster into an AC30 for the first half, gain booster into an AC30 for the second half. If I had had more time to spend on this jam last week I would have been happier with the results.

here's my mix:

order:

Panthur, GoDrex(2), djf67(2), B3Guy, Doughboy, kboman

A re-reverse? Unexpected!

I like how varied we are, it's very interesting to listen to. But I really wish I had cut down on the treble :/

Jam #9 will be up tomorrow night probably, I need to do some minor tweaking in a couple of places. Well played lads :)

Cool solos from everyone. I especially like the Organ solo as I'm a sucker for Hammond B3. It would be great to have more solos from bassists, keyboards, horn, harmoica, cowbell etc.

I'm working on #10 right now. I'm not sure if I'm entirely happy with it, but it might be OK. I want to do an experiment where each soloist plays uses a different scale. It's a little more upbeat and stripped down.

Good variety as always, guys.
i like the 'channelling Jeff Beck' start from Panthur. FWIW, KB, I didn't think you were too trebly.

Agreed, sounds spot on to me kboman. Also, I love the little delay effect during the fade out, subtle but very cool, kudos GoDrex. And thanks djf67  :toothy10:
