Since Doughboy hasn't posted a backing track, I hope it's OK for me to give it a try.  I believe that 80's hair was requested, so I gave it my best.

Here's my rather feeble contribution. I don't know if it's quite 80s metal enough, but c'est la vie.

I tried to channel Steve Vai circa Eat em & Smile.

I used an alder warmoth strat w/ maple top, maple neck, floyd & Joe Barden PUs through a Tortenmann comp, a Menatone Red Snapper overdrive & RMC5 Wah Wah using amplitube & Guitar Tracks Pro to record.

The beginning lick was a disappointment. The times I got the tapped harmonics to sound good happened to be the times the rest of the solo sucked. I would redo this tomorrow but I'll be leaving home for a month. So don't miss me too badly, folks, and enjoy the very sloppy solo.  :rock-on:

P.S. I slid everything foreward a little bit to give myself more time to get my picking hand ready. Hopefully you can compensate when you put everything together without too much trouble. Also, my solo might need some compression but I'll leave that to you as you're mixing everything down. Cheers.
