I will also say this; there has been more then one person that has sent in money not asking for tickets and wanting to remain anonomous. I am not looking to make any money so everything in my paypal account is going to get paid out. I started the drawing with $0.00 so everything in it goes to the winners. Just wanted to let the board now what kind of people hang out here......THE BEST KIND. Thanks to everyone that makes this fun.

Since I sent the money, I've been humming this little tune all day, "One Precision, Two Precision, Three Precision? Score!" ...random thought.

With the way it's running this time, my suggestions for next time would be to do it annually, and limit it to 3 tickets per participant, 200 tickets total. By the way, you all do realize that some of us will have to pay customs duties if we win, and the bigger first prize, the more we would have to cough up. If Fernando wins we may have to organize a second charity event to help him pay the taxes (for the record, Brazil appears to be the country where importing guitar parts is most expensive).

That's really cool Rene, but I'm planning my builds to be have some of the money of the drawing used on the taxes, IF everybody is ok with that...

I dunno.. even if you'd have to pay for the taxes yourself, you're getting the parts dirt cheap. I'm in the same boat when it comes to that.
I wouldn't mind having to pay like a few hunderd on taxes if that would get me $2000,- in Warmoth parts. But I can understand that it may still be a lot of money for some.

If you win then give the money to me, you will not have to worry about taxes.

Nando, if you win, I'll see if I can throw some extra change in to help with taxes, since that'll be about half your budget.

Is anyone actually a fan of the Jazzmaster trem?

It's a landmark of period engineering.

I'm limitating my choices on the build if I win to be able to use some of the money from the raffle and use some of my money to pay the taxes...
Don't think would be necessary extra help :D Thanks for thinking on me kindly, anyway!

I don't remember exactly the values from the neck as I just paid without look at it, but before the neck I bought the body.... And THAT I remember: Alder tele body with Spalted Maple finished in clear: US$500, duties: US$498... That's why I said I'd try to use some of the money from the raffle to pay the duties... But mind that I will not make compromise in making a "poor" guitar to pay the tax, this is out of conversation...
