Well after collecting parts for over a year it is complete.  Here are pics and specs on my new Flying V (wife really hates this one).

Padouk body  (ebay buy) oil finish

Wenge/Ebony Neck (ebay buy) Fatback profile, 6105 frets

Guitarhead P90s.  Very nice price and really good sound.

Shallar Locking Tuners (came with neck).

Really cheap build, total cost came in at roughly $400.

Still needs final setup but sounds and plays really nice.  I does have some neck dive with the heavy wenge neck, but lock your knee into the V Rocker stance and life is good!

Just noticed the P90's on that!  $400?  That's awesome!  I really like that padouk.  I'm waiting on a wenge/ebony neck myself.  How do you like it so far?

This is my second Wenge/Ebony neck (I have one on my VW; Pic attached).  Really love the feel of wenge necks.  You won't be disappointed.

Really happy with the P90s.  This is my first guitar with P90s so it is gonna take a bit of tinkering to find the right sound.  They have nice pinch harmonics though, I was really surprised.

That statement begs the question  :icon_scratch: WHY?  :dontknow:

Classy build ... just the right amount of everything!  Nicely done.

Very cool.  After seeing that I can't picture ever wanting to consider a non-padouk V.  It's so different yet makes such perfect sence.  :headbang:

My better half has tolerated a lot of guitars over the years, but she always was dead set against me getting a flying V.  I finally wore her down but she really ignores this guitar.
