Been inactive for a while as I was doing a lot of traveling. Now I am back in action with long overdue projects which I bought when W had its last sale. Here is one I began last weekend just cutting out a paper template pickguard for a LP flat top. Initially it was for a John Lennon Madison Square Garden LP Jr. inspiration build. However I cannot seem to find a way to mount the Charlie Christian pickup cleanly without incurring rear routing to the body. Furthermore, a Charlie Christian neck pickup is not the best running mate with a P90 for my purpose. I actually need a jangly neck pickup that is quiet. The final choice is a TV Jones Magnatron in P90 casing. The bridge will be a Kinman P-90Hx. The fun has already begun.
