I haven't been here for a while. What's the story behind this build? That guitar came out SICK! Body blank or...? Love the KL neck as well (custom, I'm assuming?). I've only seen them on the showcase. I seem to remember someone saying they don't make customs with the KL 'stock. :icon_scratch:

The body is actually made from a full scale cad drawing I did. It's a copy of a Kramer XL5, I sent my cad drawing to KNE guitars and had it built. The neck is a cutom canary with a ziricote board, and a KL headstock without the raised V portion and a wizard contour.

That's awesome! Kinda reminds me of an older BC Rich with the laminate wood and creme pup look. I dig the hell out of it, personally. :icon_thumright:

Ya it does, BC Rich, Carvin, and a lot of the early metal neck Kramer's all had that look about them... :guitarplayer2:

That's it,'cept I made the lower bout a bit pointier and added a forearm contour and the made the maple strips wider.... :icon_biggrin:
