They are high quality stickers cutted at the edge of letters. I put them on top of the wood and laquer on top of them. You can also use them on top of laquer. All the instructions & designs at www.best-decals.com

I can say that the guitar is GREAT!!!!!! the tusk XL nut + wilkinson bridge make the guitar stay in tune beautifully. also EMGs sustain forever....... I'm very happy with the results.
