ANyone ever do a gloss-black headstock with logo? If so, how?

I'm attempting to do a black gloss headstock.

I'd like to do a layer of flat black, then apply a chrome logo, then seal it in clearcoat.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!! Pics, even better.
