Also worth noting that the value of the AUD at the moment is pretty poor, so you're paying a 30% premium on a warmoth that you wouldnt have paid 18 months ago. Whereas shops are still carrying stock they bought a while ago, and have to keep it relative to the AUD RRP.

Depends whether you want your hardware to be a feature or to be less flashy. I myself prefer understated hardware where possible, so went with black. Also, whilst your top looks dark, using a tru-oil type finish shoulds brighten it up a touch.
I used original titebond (red label) for mine - but I also used a manual vacuum bag (roarrockit)
Assuming you're in the USA, the manual vacuum bags are only $60 USD. POtentially a worthy investment to get the right outcome...

Ive had 2 warmoth orders shipped to melbourne and both came quite quickly. Warmoth send through shipping notification and tracking when they complete your order.

Personal taste potentially - but have you thought about trying to slim down the Jackson logo lettering, and fatten up the "BC" just a touch. This way even though the fonts are different, they will seem more uniform?
Mostly the romanticism of the merchandise. If I like a bands music, ill either buy a t-shirt or a record.....i'll never use a CD in the digital age, so i might as well get something more substantial for merchandise.
In my opinion - if you want a paint job done right, and you dont have the patience to get some practice in.....then its probably best to just get Warmoth to finish it.
