Well that's it, my first amp build in the books. I changed the circuit just a bit and added bigger transformers so she can handle 6v6/6l6/0r el34 I've only played her for just a little while today but she has a real nice sound. I'm already thinking about the next build... 5e3?

You could try a Marshall dsl401

I started with a kit from triode.. they let me substituent the output transformer and some other stuff. once it's all together I can run an el84 (with adapter) at 2 watts or a 6v6 at 6 watts or a 6l6 for 12watts or an el34 for around 13watts. I should be able to swap rectifier and preamp tubes...

The pedals you can't live without

I also Have a Demeter reverbulator, I can say it is the best addition to the sound city head I have ever bought. I also have a demeter fat over driveulator, which is also an incredible pedal. Right now they are the only two I am using but I would like to add a memory man to the mix.

    Need aesthetic advice

find one in the showcase that is the correct tint and buy it. or better yet buy a unfinished one and shoot it the tint you want..

    rit clothing dye.

Be careful, any first year art student can tell you some dyes are not, for lack of a better word , "archival". as such they will fade quickly and unevenly. I would test a scrap for a week in the sun and see what happens. Good luck
