What is your favorite LIVE musical video?

This may not be classed as the greatest of all time but when I saw this yesterday the power of the perfomance totally blew me away, I can't stop watching it !

Justin Derrico is a killer guitarist!!!!  :hello2:

Not my favorite, but I do love this. Harry Manx + Kevin Breit = a really really cool blending of Indian music and the blues. Cool acoustic slide, and the electric guitar solo is killer.

Ok, trying to bring something a bit different to the mix here, possibly not my favourites, but both just have me sat there staring jaw dropped for the duration.

Only up to 3:30, the second song (imagine) isn't a cool. Knopfler is a hero of mine, such a sweet touch (listen closely at 2:25 and you'll hear what I mean, wow) and I don't need to say a thing about Chet. Damn these bastards for making it seem so easy.

And for seconds....

I was born in '83 and everything about this video makes me wish I was born much earlier. There are so many iconic guitarists and not one of them solos like Frampton, it's seriously funky stuff. Oh,,, and TALKBOX BABY !!!. Sweet.

Yes! another Kamelot fan!!!  :headbang:

Now for a video that doesn't have incredibly amazing guitarists... but Is still really great...

I imagine this being a Guitar forum, this will not get that much love! XD!

Can you see, when I love music like that... I think I might only need one Pickup?
:laughing7:

always liked I Alone more than Lightning Crashes

1: Which band is that?
2:What about: Avantasia, Epica, Edguy and Eluveitie? :icon_thumright:
3: I've missed two close-by-Kamelot-concerts :sad1:, One in Elverum (where they come from) and one in Oslo, just a few weeks ago. BUT, :blob7: a friend of mine got the whole band to sign a T-shirt for me :toothy10:, they almost gave me a Thomas Youngblood-pick too, but they decided to keep it for themselves :tard:.
4: Which is your favourite album? I have trouble deciding between Ghost Opera and Karma :toothy11:

head banging with an umbrella... thats almost like, yeah we are hard as feck but i dont wanna get my beautiful hair wet. thunder and lightning and pissing with rain with the wind in your hair is what its all about, that audience needs to grow a pair.

Oh, can't forget my fave :icon_jokercolor:

1. The Birthday Massacre. they are Quite Possibly the Purple-est band on earth. and almost too Goth to function!
2. Eluveitie is in my top 5 all time favorite bands. the new album is damn near perfect. Simone Simons of Epica is like... one of maybe three women I would kill for, if they told me to. I like the Newer, cheesier Avantasia (the lost in space stuff!) and Edguy is great, but something has kept me from getting into them.
3. I live in Utah. I'VE NEVER HAD THE CHANCE!!! XD
4. my favorite songs are on Ghost Opera. but Center of the Universe from the album Epica is really Amazing... I guess Ghost Opera but basically any album from Epica Forward gets mad love.

5.ARE YOU SICK OF THE INTERLUDES ON EVERY ALBUM YET? because thats always been the only downer for me. LOL!

that Video is From mera Luna... there is a lot of Goth there. Goth's are not like metalheads. they are a delicate breed.

besides, they have all that makeup on, if it gets wet and runs.... it might blind them! XD

Oh, and 5: Nah, I just take a week off listening to stuff like Cannibal corpse, and stuff. I'm not bothered by interludes and such, I just need some variation :icon_thumright:

I like the CC one better, but that's just because I like CC better (yeah, guess what I typed into the search-field to find this video :laughing7:)
Oh, but the best LIVE-shows I've experienced in my life must be Metallica Live in Oslo Spektrum, 17th of June 2009 Or the Heavy Metal's Big Four Live-feed from Sofia, Bulgaria :party07:

Here is my Reggae entry....

This is probably my favourite. Not a huge fan of RATM or Dizzee Rascal, but I was incredibly impressed by this. Also, Guthrie Govan is probably my favourite guitarist.
