quick question, but i really don't think it deserves it's own thread... would i be ok buying a gibson wiring harness for a Tele Deluxe? i don't see much of a difference in options (at all), two volumes, two tones, 3 way pickup toggle. only it's MUCH cheaper to buy the harness than to buy all the wiring and pots i would need to do it myself. any thoughts? planning on getting this one

My thoughts exactly.  I have zero definite plans for this one, but I couldn't pass it up at that price.

Neck arrived and I've spent a good half hour going over it.  SS6105 frets are perfectly level to the board, and the board is dead flat.  The fret ends are beveled and passed the kleenex test easily.  Besides hardware, all this neck needs is forty four dressed ends and the fretboard edge rolled to personal preference.

No dings, scratches or imperfections that I can detect.  Camera batteries are charging so no pics yet.

Nope.  Two benders is enough for anybody.  This one will be the hot rod with hot pickups in it.  Thinking about a Bigsby as well...

Finally got all the configuration sorted out.  It will be finished in Cherry Burst as voted by this forum's members.  The pups I have chosen will be two P90s or rather two Kinman P-90 Hx.  By the way, Chris Kinman is also having a Christmas sale.  The bridge will be a cut-off Tele ashtray type.
