I'll have some photos up with in a few days I think. Tuners will be here monday probably, might pick up the pups over the weekend or next week, and then start the assembly!

I'm totally confused then.  When I called they were like "Nope, we're out of stock."  Then I called again and I said "Someone I know just ordered it," and they were like "Well you should check where you get your info from then because we're out of stock."  I guess what you have to do is just call and order all nonchalantly and when they realize they are out of stock in that wood they'll just have to scrounge some up for you.

I don't know what to say.  There was never any indication at any time that it would be a problem.

now...

I have noticed there is sometimes a difference between W sales folks.  Some are a bit more willing to help with strange/unusual stuff than others.  This is just human nature and nothing to really get worked up about, but it's there.  Maybe I got a good guy that day.

We want our customer experience to be as consistent as possible, though yes, you do have to take in to account the human factor. If you feel you have received sub-par help from a Warmoth rep at any time, please send us an email about your experience and with whom you spoke, to sales@warmoth.com . This information helps us serve everyone better.

I don't think it was a matter of whether or not they wanted to be helpful.  It seemed to me like a communication breakdown somewhere along the line.  The same thing happens at the comic book store sometimes.  It's not a big deal really, it was just kind of weird.

i heard something similar a while back.. somebody wanted a canary neck with an angled headstock and the person they called said they couldn't do an angled headstock, but at about the same time somebody else on the forum had ordered an angled headstock canary neck. just a communication breakdown i guess.

here's a quick macro shot of the crack in the headstock. Its not too big, I don't think it'll be a big deal but I have I haven't had a chance to get it looked at yet.

Pau Ferro Neck with Pau Ferro fretboard. Black Tusq-xl earvana nut, 6150 frets and MoP inlays.

I almost got away witout getting anything from the sale, but I made the mistake of looking in on it today. I'm not sure what I'm doing with it yet, but it should look good!

OMG that thing is pure win - looking forward to seeing how it comes together.

Can't imagine they'll let their fiftieth anniversary pass without some event - that could very well be another sale. And we just have to wait... ehhhhh.....  :help:

WOO HOO! My neck is in the paint shop!
Will ship next week, according to a recent phone call!
Yay Me!

Chrome hardware for this, but I can't make up my mind about pup color/covers. Think zebras would work?

For me it would be black hardware, but whichever way you go that body is superb, yes please

Zebras would look great, just make sure it's the "outer" bobbins that are white. Good find :)
