2. Yes. The Pea's suck - they clearly only live in a studio environment. Slash IMHO is (and always has been) a very very over-rated guitarist at best. Nothing to see here folks, move along...

And you're a huge fan of Iron Mainden? :laughing7:

Next...

I KNOW, right? Just goes to show you how pathetic Slash really is.  :dontknow:

Taken yesterday during the halftime show. I think it pretty well shows my feelings on the Super Bowl this year :icon_biggrin:

(The Terrible Tissue's owner got up to find food. I took advantage. But no, I didn't really use it.)

Yeah, but how many Lombardis do the Cowboys have?  :icon_jokercolor:

Dangerous might be right if he specified Big Ben sucks.  He had the ball with 2 minutes left on the clock, a perfect scenario, but he blew it.

Congratulations to the Packers, they simply outplayed the Steelers.  I can't complain about losing to a community owned team.  How often do you see that these days?

Hmmm.  I'll leave the football talk to be decided on the field.

What you need is a Primanti's sandwich to cheer you up.  That might make things better.  They make 'em Texas sized.  Wash one of these bad boys down with a Shiner Bock and it may give you something to appreciate about the Steel City.

Can't get the photos to work or I'd give you a preview.  Heck, if you're ever in town, its my treat.

Or, there's another alternative - a couple of Kroll's West double cheeseburgers with sharp cheddar cheese and a big bowl of chicken booyah (or as its known in Green Bay, Belgian penicillin) and a Leinie's Creamy Dark, or better yet, a Canadeo Gold from Titletown Brewing.

Slash isn't all that overrated I think, he composed some of the most memorable rock riffs, you can't take that away from him.

I'm having a Shiner Bock at this very moment.....But let me rephrase.....It's not necessarily the Steel city I dislike....Just the steelers...But I must say equally I hate the eagles... :icon_biggrin:

i'm definitely no steelers fan... but i hate the eagles more! cowboys fans hate the redskins and redskins fans hate the cowboys, but at least they respect each other. 90% of the time they put on a great game, no matter how badly the redskins have been playing that year :icon_biggrin: but eagles fans are the worst... i've got the unfortunate pleasure of being friends with a few...

Are you from the the 'Burgh?  I grew up there.  I could ALWAYS go for a PRIMANTIs

Thats what I'm talking about!!!

I'm a transplant to the 'Burgh.  I've lived here for 2 1/2 years now, and I love it.  Especially the food.

I extend the offer, not just to Dangerous, but to any Warmoth forum member who comes to Pittsburgh, hit me up, and I'll get you a Primantis.

And regarding Leinenkugels beer...my girl drinks that, its her favorite.  We put her on a two week ban, but now that the Superbowl is over she can have it again.  Everyone's happy.

In '02 I spent 3 weeks in PA.  I flew in and out Pittsburg and spent the majority of the time in Western PA.  Regionally, there are always unusual food customs to the out of towner.  I remember hamloaf, perogies, and everyone putting french fries on salads.

I lived there 32 year.  I come back every 6-8 weeks for business and my parents still live there.  We can make a trip to Primanti's and PGH GUITAR SHOP.

My 3 step kids live in Dingman's Ferry, we usually go up there once a year. But we don't come anywhere close to Pittsburgh when passing thru... :dontknow:

I just read, 3 mil for 30 seconds, wonder what the final cost on Chryslers 2 minute commercial was?

Any of you guys ever been in the old Limestone mine that's now high security private and Govt. storage?

Never been there, but a friend of mine interviewed for a job there.  At least I think its the place you mean.  He didn't get the job.

And yes, you are right, there are a lot of strange food traditions in Western PA that I am still learning myself.  The french fries on a salad is strange but true fact.  Its not my cup of tea, but who am I to argue with tradition?

From what I see, Pittsburgh food is a combination of various central European traditions mixed with hearty American factory worker food.  Nothing lightweight about it.

There are a few barbeque joints, but they're all pretty much in dicey neighborhoods--meaning dangerous.  I envy you Texans for the bbq tradition you have.
