If you look at the pics at the beginning of the thread, you will see that it is a reverse headstock, and that the decal is, in fact, right side up.  I thought you were just kidding.

I wouldn't say that.  In person, you can see it.  If the body didn't have binding, the neck wouldn't have.  I just couldn't see having a bound body without a bound neck.

The coolest thing about that piece is that the pups go where there is no spalting.  Nice symmetrical bookmatching.
