You know, that's one of those I've never been sure of.

In case it wasn't clear, I was joking. I'm a stickler for correct spelling, grammar and punctuation. I don't always get it right, though.

About an hour ago, it arrived - photos attached.
As expected exceptional job. Body feels quite light - alder - but I won't count those chickens until the fat lady sings. Assuming it all aligns correctly, no complaints.
Okay the pachyderm in the corner. Not in love with that colour. It's what I ordered, and after discussing it here, it's what I was expecting. Not the end of the world. I'll just have to live with it... wishing I'd gone with trans purple, now.
I'll start 'the build' in the morning.

The graffiti yellow looks great! I've been thinking of ordering my next Warmoth body in that color. It would go well with a contoured heel, maybe if/when that's rolled out...

Yeah, that's the colour I was hoping it'd turn out to be when I ordered it. That colour is actually called Desert Yellow. It's 'YELLOW', I guess there must be some green in there for the camera to 'see' it?
The 'Strat' is a guitar I had built 30 years ago. It's donating it's electrics and tuners. I was hoping GY would at least match that.

It's all subjective, isn't it? I suppose the mistake I made was trying to replicate the old guitar colour? If I'd gone with a completely different colour, I'd have been overjoyed.
Like I say, my own fault.
It does have the contoured heel, by the way.

Well, looking at the picture with the three colors next to each other, I totally understand ordering Graffiti Yellow and expecting it to look like the 30 year old guitar on the left, because they look very similar in that picture.

But how you expected it to look like that greenish neon-color on the right... I don't get it.

But all that aside I think it'll look good!

And I'd be very curious how the old guitar looks under that pickguard: The color might have looked different 30 years ago.

And you know the old saying:
If life gives you lemon-colored guitar bodies... or something like that.
