how much would it cost to get 1-22 roman numeral fretboard inlays? that would be insane

to me, that seems more  like a "beginners guitar" kind of vibe...

either way, it seems like WAY to much work for warmoth to do.
i doubt that warmoth is willing to do something like this, its just not profitable considering the work involved.

i think it would look sick
its not thst i need numbers i just think it be a one-of-a-kind thing
nobodys ever done that before
i dont pay attention to the frets any that much

it looks ok on lap steels, like this one:

but on every fret?

Not likely.  You'd be better off omitting the frets and having someone else do the inlay work.

yea that looks awsome on the lap steel. i guess thatd be cool just having it on the 12 fret.
i just want to make a guitar with specs that nobody has done before.

That is what Warmoth's for!
In what I can imagine, a ton of roman numerals would look kinda ugly.

What kinda build are you thinking?

just because it needs to look different doesnt mean it has to be ugly...

here is a suggestion:
try using an exotic wood instead of maple and rosewood (or whatever you were using)
IMO, exotic woods make you look totally unique and distinctive from everyone else.

also, warmoth does a paddle headstock. you may want to make you own headstock shape if you know how to do it.

if you want a truly unique inlay, get one like this:
