22 fret overhang - trim pickguard?

It should clear the pickguard even with 11/16" neck pocket depth. Deeper than that, it won't clear.
FOLLOW UP:
I could not get the Warmoth neck holes to line up perfectly with my 1992 Squier strat body. I was done messing with the neck pocket and I did not want to risk damaging my Warmoth neck. So, I put my old neck back on and bought a new fender pickguard. BTW only 3 of 11 holes lined up on the new pickguard so the neck pocket wasn't the only thing nonstandard about my old Squier.
I took TBurst Std's recommendation. I bought a Squier CV 70's strat body and put my Warmoth neck on it. The neck fit perfectly. I added a loaded fender tex mex pickguard. Thanks for the help!
