Recessed TOM - sufficient break angle?

Anyone experience problems with the break angle of the strings on their recessed TOMs?  :dontknow: Some angles I've seen seem a bit shallow and I'd imagine there being a problem with strings pinging or popping out of their saddles.  The angled string-thru option seems the best in terms of break angle.

Everyone of them that I've seen have just the right break angle, not too steep, and nowhere near not enough.
