Let me guess, you're a Scotsman...  :icon_biggrin:

The one English guy I knew with regularity was quick to point out he wasn't British.  He said Britain had it's roots in Brittany, the French region.  A throwback of the Norman Conquest.  And to quote him, "I ain't no F'in Frog."

correct pete :P

but its all very true. scotland makes tones of dosh from oil and banks and whatever other industry, we only get %10-20 of what we make put back into the country. Which is totally rediculas, theres alot of problems that could be addressed with that money and for our trouble we are called english. No Thanks I am very proud to be scottish. I in now way hate people or england or the country or anything. My gripe is with the attitude of some of them. it would be my guess that about 80% of them think scotland is a region of england.

- Paypal sounds nice from a consumer perspective, but from a business perspective, Paypal costs more to administer and takes longer to get paid.  Less money for more work makes it less attractive.

- Blame UPS for England vs UK.  They want to see England on the shipping docs for whatever reason.  As long as it gets to the customer quickly and safely......!!!

its all paranoia on my part! maybe theres another country out their called england! oh no! haha

Actually the way the Paypal thing was explained to me was that once upon a time the mighty W accepted Paypal and there was a customer with a dispute and all of the Paypal funds were locked up until everything was resolved. :dontknow:

I do not believe Warmoth has ever accepted paypal.  That part may be wives tale.  However, the general concept is correct.  The are challenges to using PP from a business perspective.

Maybe the old Britney (which was, ironically, the young Britney). Now I'm not so sure...she's a head full of crazy that one.

That's what I was told when placing an order during the anniversary sale. Can't remember who I talked to but that's what they said. :dontknow:

I'm all for not using PayPal. It and its co-company :evil4: eBay get enough of my money! its fine from a buyers perspective but just more fees and unjust exchange rates for sellers

I was going to start a new topic, but found this one addressing my question.

I guess from a buyers perspective, Paypal is much more attractive, due to the lower fees and competitive exchange rates (compared to most Aussie banks). I understand that from the businesses perspective, PP has it's issues. If only there was a way to avoid being slugged a tonne every time I make a warmoth purchase.
