Not cheap, but nicely made and I have a hatred for plastic guitar parts lol

Awesome job Ragga! Everything looks superb, and all works together fantastic. A gem.Well, she's all done! Pickup rings are still a bit lighter colored than I'd like, but this guitar really turned out killer! Sounds and plays great and is also really comfortable.

And a killer build it is man! Thanks everybody!
One day I'd like to try my hand at making my own necks (I imagine it would take some practice to get them as nice as Warmoth), but I think this is legitimately my last build for the near future.
The problem with guitars (and especially Warmoth builds) is they always seem to multiply while you're not looking!![]()
So, this was definitely NOT my last build, but it has become my number one player! Plays good, sounds good, feels good.
For a while I found the tone to be a just little bit warmer and mushier than I'd like, and knew that the pickups had A2 magnets which tend to be more mushy in the bass, so I recently bought some A4 and A5 mags to play around with. I put the A4 set in last night and I'm liking the change; a tad tighter in the bass, a tad brighter, and a tad more output. I'll have to play it for a while before making a decision, but I think the A4s are going to stay!
Also, the bass cut pot had gotten scratchy, so I replaced it with one of the new Alpha C1M pots that I bought from Guitar Madness on Ebay. Quick and easy swap!
Also also, another that very slightly bugs me about this build is the neck heel; I should have "contoured" it down a little more! It's not terrible, it's just kind of chunky and blocky. Perhaps at some point I'll shave it down a little more, but I'd have to refinish that area which wouldn't be fun. Idk, I should probably just leave it alone, but you never know!

Haha yeah, once a guitar addict always a guitar addictWell I'm glad to hear it wasn't your final build - I had a feeling......
I'm not familiar with those Alpha pots, I'll have to look into them.
Super Clean control cavity as always from you !
Thanks for the info, I’ll check em out.Haha yeah, once a guitar addict always a guitar addict
Thanks!
I posted a thread about the pots a while back: basically C1M (1meg reverse audio taper) pots are ideal for bass cut wiring, and difficult to source. I had been buying some from the G&L webstore that were expensive, not great quality, and sometimes out of stock, but I recently found Guitar Madness on ebay selling these Alpha C1M pots in three different shaft lengths.
