No notice arrival!

Other than the Scale length and the head stock, I have one that is about that.  A couple of things I learned: Wenge can get sunburnt, sometimes it dries more than you'd think, and when/if oiling the screws to hold on the neck, don't use too much oil, it softens the wood.  The stuff is pretty slick by itself, so the screws should not present a problem.  Mine was near a window and has a pseudo farmer tan.  The sun reduced the color in the brown part of the grain.  It should darken back up with playing.  Beyond that, it is by far my favorite neck wood, just a joy for me to play.  Looks like a fun build.

WOW, that is absolutely gorgeous. that quilt man! and i like the pickup choice, i'd like to see one of every one of the bare knuckles go into a guitar on this forum, and that wenge looks...well like butta, i might like it more than my all rosewood neck  :sad:
