Title says it all. I was watching this one in the Showcase for a week or so, couldn't resist any longer.
My 1st canary I think I'm going to like it a bunch.

So that's it for here, watch for us in Works In Progress.

Ebony over Canary w/ stainless frets? Yeah. You're gonna love that thing.

I can't see any way to improve on those pieces VERY NICE choices.  :icon_thumright:

Thanks everybody for your responses.
I think this going to work out great. I was afraid the red stripes up the back might put me off, but now that it's here, I think it will be fine.
And it does feel amazing! The ebony is a great piece. I didn't want any extra colors to make things seem too busy, and this thing is black as a cat. It won't need any doctoring.
Did I mention that it feels amazing?

When you cast your fly upon the waters of the showcase you can only catch what’s in the pond. I wouldn't buy cream face, but other small dots are acceptable to me. I wouldn't care for blocks or crowns but I need something or I wouldn't know where to put my fingers. :)

Posted by: AutoBat: It'll look amazing when you change the hardware!
Yes Sir! I whole hardily agree. I plan to use black hardware but had some nickel here and used it for the mockup. Please note the word might in this heading "And this one is what it might look like when it's done;"
I do think that nickel would work fine but I think the black will work better.

Thanks again to all.
Now I'm waiting for hardware.

I know, showcase necks are great deals. I'm gassing for a jag neck with bloody basin blocks, but warmoth doesn't have that.

I should look into it sometime.

Bagman. I would feel honored that you found it worthy to use that in the same sig as that fantastic Tele.
Thank you

The body and the neck on that Telecaster were both showcase finds, so it's wholly appropriate.
