Long-time no see fellow Warmothers (Warmothians, Warmothi?). After not finding what I was looking for in MIJ Jazzmasters, I decided to piece one together. I pulled the trigger on a couple of showcase items with some finishing touches. I have a set of Lollar JM pickups in parchment and a Warmoth tort guard on order as well. I'm thinking I'll finish it off with Gotoh locking tuners and a Mastery Vibrato + Bridge.

I've built two jazzmasyer using warmoth body and necks and found no need for a shim, though one is a hard tail, and the other is a strat gotoh 510 trem. What kind of bridge are you using.

I ended up having to use a 1degree shim. I am using a traditional Jazzmaster/Mustang bridge. Without the shim and the bridge decked, I had ridiculously high action at the last fret.
Good to know, I am a few weeks away from putting a neck on a jazzmaster with jazzmaster tremolo. Will know there may be an issue

I'm assuming this is my order 🤤

How amazing to have your parts featured!

I ordered the Fender Deluxe Molded case already, the existing case isn't useless - it holds my Tele/Strat/Soloists just fine. Being a generic Gator, I wasn't sure if it would fit the offset.

It was about $300 for the full neck in green sparkle with a non-maple fretboard. From my reading of the paint policy, if you order a maple neck with maple fretboard it will be 100% painted; however, the off-the-shelf items trigger one-on-one communication for clarification and cost. YMMV.

Worth every penny!

I asked for a Candy Purple neck but was told the paint department probably wouldn’t want to do it. I wonder if flake is different.
