600 then 1000 grit and a first coat of tru oil on the front

Truoil goes on really nice

OK some updates..

Completed finish on the body, polished etc..

light finish on the neck, mostly natural but tru oil on headstock, tuners fitted

Cavities plastered with some copper tape , bridge installed

Contoured heel needed 2 shorter screws, wanted to use the antique silver ones I had so dremmel time..

Some issues installing the front 2 pickups, still not sorted, not sure quite how they are supposed to be installed, will figure it out

Build so far.. electronics work, plays nice, sounds great, no setup done at all yet, jack socket not installed, had a classic style and no tool to install so ordered an electrosocket in black.







So , close to finished ish, jack socket here in a week or so, will get round to setting it up and record some stuff...

Uh will have a black 3 way switch, knobs are antique silver rn but black may work also

To be fair its right here, but shipping and taxes/duty for these parts was nuts.

An Owlbear is a mythical D&D creature that does some major stomps

nah just antiqued I doubt silver screws are that great!
