Gotta Admit I'm not exactly a master of guitar building. In fact I'm just now getting around to learn how to fix guitars without hillbilly rigging them. Though I'm Kind of proud of the dumpster find restorations :guitarplayer2:. Any way I have a tone of stupid questions so rest assured when the forum search function doesn't help me I'll be tossing them out there.

It's the only thing I can say as all the post makes not much sense to me... What kind of doubt do you have? This is more a forum about putting guitars together than luthiery...

Heh. Probably should have got around to that in the introduction :doh:. I have this stripped out, 80's vintage dean bass with a FUBAR'ed neck. I believe the body style is called the Mark IV? Anyway that's the reason for all the problem guitars I bring home. I want to make sure I do it right the first time as I build my dream 4 string on this awesome body.
