Warmoth quietly lowered prices on much of our Showcase stock last week.  Did anyone notice or were you all keeping it under your hats?  (Hoping no one else would buy that body or neck you've been watching???)  So...... Got GAS yet??

Here's the text from our newsletter that went out today:

"Custom has never been more affordable!"
LOWER PRICES on In Stock Showcase Necks and Bodies

We build our showcase necks and bodies in batches and that allows us to streamline the manufacturing process which reduces cost. The result is an offering of the best necks and bodies we make at prices that don't break the bank.
• Each piece is sent through the identical quality control regimen as all our parts - no compromise.
• 100% made in Washington State.
• We post new items to the In Stock Showcase daily.
• We include pictures of the actual items for sale so you can see the color and grain of each individual piece.
• Another benefit of buying from the In Stock Showcase is that these items are already made, significantly cutting your wait time. Many items can ship within days of ordering.

Don't hesitate! That neck or body you've been eyeing won't last long.

Oh this is new? I assumed that you have always been doing showcase discounts on lots of items, but it hasn't been until recently that i have been comparing body builder prices to showcase prices, so if there was any increase in the discounts I didn't notice. In any case, keep doing what you are doing, guys!!!  :icon_thumright:

You are correct, we have always been discounting Showcase items to a certain extent but now the discounts are greater than ever.

Remember that rippin' sale we had last year? Well, the new body pricing is lower than that in many instances. Now the challenge will be to keep the inventory up.

Dang you. I was just waffling between that BK chambered strat and my nephew's tele.

Please please please build more SGs. The two you have there have sat there for ages. :(

That's probably why they don't build more SGs - they sit on the shelf for ages <grin>

One t thing keeping my from buying that BK chambered strat - is I'm not sure I want BK if I can't have it my way. Most of the strats in the showcase have trem routings even if the bridge hasn't been done.  I get that trems are popular, especially on strats. But a large portion of the showcase bodies have no bridge route. Why cut the trem cavity unless you're doing the bridge too?

Yeah, around midnight last night I checked out the same dang 7/8 scale Strat I've been watching since, well, since you started showing them I guess. It's $60 cheaper now.

But I had promised myself I'd finish a bike project before spending more time/money on another guitar.

You people are evil...

Most of what changes from one type of trem to another is the location and diameter of the mounting posts, so you can rout the rear most of the way done, and the final holes can be defined and implemented later once somebody decides which trem they're going to use.

Build one interesting and I'll buy it! Maybe :)

And strats are for chumps.

Great  :icon_thumright:
So... build some finished bird's eye (strat) maple neck WITHOUT dots, please
 :toothy11: :toothy11: :toothy11: :toothy11:

Excellent!  Just in time for me to order that strat neck for the Agile relic  :occasion14:

YOU GUYS ARE KILLING ME
I went and got the dies and fillers for  my body today, I promised I would do this slowwwwwwwwwwwww, no rush, buy what I want, Then I went to the Tele neck selection and typed in my options and up pops a maple solid with abalonie. You guys suck, I have to buy now which means I will be running up a CC to get tuners and stuff for that.
GAS sucks, but then where would I be without 2 walls of guitars ?

You guys are just f***in wrong - I haven't even finished my second build from the sale yet. UUUGGGGHhhh don't look ...... don't look.

Whaddaya guys want, for them to raise the prices to prior levels so it's even harder to build more guitars? Relax! They're doing everybody a favor, including themselves. Makes it easier for us to get what we want, and gets more business for them. Because of this move, instead of waiting 6 months to build the next one, you'll only have to wait 4. Before you know it, we'll have have basements, garages, attics and living rooms loaded with uber-fancy guitars! <grin>
