After dithering on a couple similar bodies and watching them disappear, I bit on this one (multi-piece RSA).



Plans:
A) DIY clear satin finish, stick my rosewood/ebony strat neck on it, and make it my single-coil blues traveler
B) same as A but route out a universal trough and add SD P-rails system or Filter'Tron neck with something else
C) Same finish, plug the bridge route, route out a universal trough, and make it a 12-string with either roasted maple/ebony or wenge/ebony neck

Hardware would be satin black and/or cosmo black (black nickel) to match the neck. Pickguard? Typically avoid them, hence my dithering, but there are countless options (probably go DIY there, too).

At $120, I don't mind experimenting with it. The back looks even more amazing with all the rings (I forgot to save the images before ordering but still had this one opened). Yes, it's meant to have an opaque finish but I actually dig it as-is, has an artsy contemporary vibe to it.
