I downloaded an app called Gif Creator to my iPhone that lets me chain images together to create an animated gif.
I then managed to upload the gif to an website that kept the animation (some websites just displays the first image in the gif) and was able to paste that image link in my post.
I think I'll be creating more of these from now on since it's so much fun :laughing7:

The red of the knobs is definitely the right red for that body. I like the red knobs on both pickguards but if you use the black one, I'd like to see black pickup covers. Black/white/red is too busy for my tastes. If you want the white pickup covers with the black PG, then go for the white knobs.

Yes, I agree that black/red/white is too busy. I still lack some parts so I still got time to decide on the color combination.

Unless you're going with black pup covers, I'd go for the white guard with the red knobs. Very close color match between the red of the body and the red knobs, I'd want to highlight that, and the white does that quite nicely.

I gotta vote for the all white treatment.  However, I think... you need to play with it!  That's cosmetic stuff that will change with time and your current emotional state, right?

Had a chance to stew on this ...
If a light colored neck, then red knobs, white pickguard, red pick up covers
If a dark colored neck, then red knobs, black pickguard, red pick up covers.

Those knobs can always be changed so decide on the PG and build the thing. You may want to change knobs now and then, anyway.
