Mustang 40 lt vs champion 40

I tried the Mustang LT-40 and Champion 40 amps today, and I’m struggling to decide which one to buy. I play rock, metal, and some pop, but I can’t determine which amp would suit me best. If someone could compare them and provide pros and cons based on experience, that would be really helpful.

Also, can I record with the Champion 40 using an audio interface like I can with the Mustang?

Additionally, I find it disappointing that the Champion forces you to use reverb along with delay, especially since I can’t afford to buy pedals.

The Mustang LT series is superior in every way from a modeling standpoint.

A gently used mk2 Boss Katana could be had for the same price.

Best bet id to go to your local shop and ab them. If not then you can have them sentbto your local guitar center and if you don't like them just say no and return them on the spot. I've done that we with gutar cases and pedals so i don't see why it can't be done with combos. Ive never ab'd them but I've tried them both and they both seem fine for the price range.
