We're taking a break. however long it will be is uncertain. Our singer is 4 months pregnant and I'm Starting school in a week.  I don't really know how the band will survive through this but i'm mostly just expecting it wont...

I'm kind of relieved actually but I still get pangs of guilt for feeling that way because we really are good.
In any case.  Played for the Taber Cornfest yesterday and This has got to be the sweetest picture of me anybody has ever taken.

And one to show that I have too much crap on stage.

ah ok, good thing I didn't congratulate you then :)

congratulations for her being in the country clip though :)

its my warmoth dragonburst.  I have pics up in the gallery.

the band is called Hollow Embrace.  Right now we're just working on getting our album done.

here's our website: www.hollowembrace.com  It needs updating badly.  check out the songs on myspace.

sounds like time to take lemons and make hard lemonaid.. play around with some new kids, you might just find the perfect group.
I'm a little green with my teaching and family I rarely get time to play out..

Your band can survive the singer having kids.  Ours did.
It also survived our bass player having twins.
And it's also going to survive me having two boys.

Life goes on.  If your band is important to you and the other members, you'll find a way to make it go.  :occasion14:

Oh - last night I cut a demo of a song I wrote using garage band on my laptop (of all things) - while I was holding a 5 week old baby in my arms.  :headbang:
