How is the neck balance?  You took a lot of wood out of the body, and that neck looks a bit on the heavy side, does it balance on a strap?

That neck was on a Thunderbird body, and that wasn't overly neck-heavy. The Warmoth headstock is a lot smaller than the Fender J- and P-shapes and the GB7 tuners are also a lot lighter than BMLs, so even if there's quite a bit of weight in the neck, a lot of that is not at the very end.

I'll only know for sure when I have the time to put it on a strap, though.
