Have your satin body finishes held up?

For those with satin body finishes:

What's your experience in the long term?

How do they look? How do they wear in comparison to gloss finishes?

I think they will definitely polish up with time, but what do I know.

I would love to see some pictures of satin body's that are several month or years old.

I had a mahogany electric guitar with a satin finish.  Very nice feel. I buffed the the body to dull sheen, left the neck as is.  The back of the neck buffed up a little in the money fret area.  But that took about seven years.  It has a nice feel.

I have 2 satin guitars. Held up just as good as gloss.
