Christmas comin' early this year!

I got a box.

I opened it.

I am completely satisfied with the body! It's seriously fabulomazing!

Can't wait for the neck and the rest of the parts arrive in a couple of weeks!

Awesome looking body!  I bet it looks even better in person . . . they always do.

Let us know about the sound of your Bare Knuckle pickups.  This is an option I had not considered for future strat builds

I allready got two fender cases, so it's not anything I would spend money on at the moment.
The next hardcase I'll buy is for the black tonar strat. Actually, I'm going to transfer money to tonar and have him buy one for me, so that he can send me the body and neck in the hardcase after refinishing the body, and finishing the neck. Last time he sent me the body, it was damaged by some sort of heatsource between USA and Norway. I think the hardcase provides protection along with the winter temperatures - so that the body arrives in perfect tonar-condition :icon_biggrin: Looking forward to it!

I remember you having that finish problem in shipping. A lot can happen on a trip that far.

Some cases I've been quite impressed with are these CNB parts...

Very well done, and they're only $99 here. At 21lbs. (9.5kg), they're a little heavier than a typical Strat hardshell case, but they'll take a helluva lot more abuse while keeping your guitar safe.

I forgot to mention that I have ordered a vintage pearl pickguard for this one.
I'm putting a volume and a master tone in it, and add a DPDT on-on switch in the "Tone 2" position.
