That is a really, really cool finish! I suspect that the neck is going to look killer, like it is “growing” out of the brown/gold part of the finish. Looking forward to more pictures!

I was wondering who would take that, what neck it would be paired with and if we'd see the results. Safe to say nobody will have another one like that with nice goncalo grain and a fender headstock

This are some beautiful pieces.  I however cannot get past the Fender/LP set up.  It seems to be in style now....maybe someday.

Sorry for the lack of updates, I've been pretty busy so when I had time to work on the build I had to focus on getting stuff done, so here's some updates. I ended up changing the plans and going with a set of EMG 81/85s. I just finished it so pics and stuff should be up soon.
